Section 01
When a pipe bursts at two in the morning or a spring storm overwhelms your Castle Rock basement, the difference between a manageable cleanup and a structural catastrophe comes down to hours. Atlas Contracting dispatches emergency water removal crews to Castle Rock and the surrounding Douglas County area around the clock, every day of the year. Our teams arrive with commercial-grade extraction units capable of removing thousands of gallons per hour, giving your property the fastest possible path to dry conditions.
Rapid Response for Burst Pipes, Appliance Leaks & Storm Flooding
Castle Rock sits at over 6,200 feet in elevation, where freeze-thaw cycles regularly split copper supply lines and aging water heaters fail without warning. Atlas technicians isolate the source, stop the flow, and begin extraction within minutes of arrival. Whether the cause is a failed washing machine hose, a cracked main, or storm runoff breaching a window well, the protocol is the same: contain, extract, and protect the structure before secondary damage sets in.
Industrial-Grade Water Extraction to Prevent Structural Damage
Standing water wicks into drywall, subfloor, and framing within the first hour. Our truck-mounted extractors pull water from carpet, pad, hardwood, and concrete at rates that household wet-vacs cannot match. Removing the bulk water quickly is the single most important step in preventing warped floors, delaminated cabinets, and compromised load-bearing members. Every minute counts, and our equipment is built for volume.
High-Capacity Dehumidification & Air Movement
Extraction removes surface water, but moisture trapped inside wall cavities, under tile, and within insulation requires professional drying. Atlas deploys banks of LGR (low-grain refrigerant) dehumidifiers paired with high-velocity air movers to create a controlled drying environment. We monitor grain depression and relative humidity hourly during the first 24 hours to confirm the drying curve is on track, adjusting placement as conditions change.
Sewage Backup Cleaning & Sanitization
Category 3 losses involving sewage or contaminated groundwater require a different protocol entirely. Atlas crews remove all affected porous materials, apply hospital-grade antimicrobial treatments, and verify surface cleanliness with ATP testing before any rebuild work begins. We follow IICRC S500 and S520 standards for contaminated water losses, protecting both the structure and the health of everyone who lives or works in the building.
Section 02
Water damage restoration is not a single event. It is a phased process that begins with emergency stabilization and ends only when the structure has been returned to its pre-loss condition. Atlas Contracting manages every phase under one contract, eliminating the coordination headaches that come with hiring separate mitigation and reconstruction companies. Here is how we move a Castle Rock water loss from chaos to completion.
Immediate Moisture Mapping Using Infrared Thermal Imaging
Before a single air mover is placed, our technicians map the full extent of moisture intrusion using infrared cameras and penetrating moisture meters. Thermal imaging reveals wet areas hidden behind intact drywall and under flooring, areas that would otherwise go undetected until mold appears weeks later. This moisture map becomes the blueprint for equipment placement and the baseline against which we measure daily drying progress.
Content Protection & Pack-Out Services
Furniture, electronics, documents, and personal belongings are cataloged, photographed, and either protected in place or packed out to a climate-controlled facility. This inventory becomes part of the insurance claim documentation, and it clears the affected rooms so drying equipment can operate at full efficiency. Our content teams handle everything from grand pianos to family photo albums with the same level of care and documentation.
Direct Insurance Billing & Claims Support
Atlas bills your insurance carrier directly using Xactimate estimating software, the same platform adjusters use to evaluate claims. We photograph and document every phase of the loss, from initial moisture readings to final dry verification, creating a complete record that supports your claim. Our project managers communicate with your adjuster throughout the process, so you are never caught between your contractor and your insurance company.
Complete Structural Repairs & Final Restoration
Once drying is verified and clearance testing confirms the structure meets industry dry standards, Atlas transitions to the rebuild phase. Drywall, flooring, cabinetry, paint, and trim are restored to match or exceed the original condition. Because we handle both mitigation and reconstruction, there is no gap between the two phases. The same project manager oversees the entire job from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
Castle Rock's rapid growth has brought thousands of new homes built on expansive clay soils. Foundation settling, grading issues, and undersized window wells create chronic water intrusion risks that generic restoration companies often misdiagnose. Atlas Contracting understands the building patterns and soil conditions specific to Douglas County, from the older neighborhoods near downtown to the newer developments along Founders Parkway and Crystal Valley.
Our crews are local. We stage equipment in the south metro corridor so response times to Castle Rock remain consistently under an hour, even during peak storm seasons when demand spikes across the Front Range. When your basement is filling with water, geography matters more than promises.
Atlas holds DUNS 117517457 and CAGE CODE 62FR3, credentials that reflect the operational discipline required for government and commercial contracts. That same discipline drives our residential work: documented procedures, daily moisture logs, and clear communication at every stage.
We also hold EPA Lead-Safe Certification No. NAT-F222667, which is critical when water damage occurs in homes built before 1978. Disturbing lead-containing materials during demolition without proper containment creates a health hazard that most restoration companies are not equipped or certified to manage. Atlas handles these situations safely and in full compliance with federal regulations.
From The Meadows to Plum Creek and the neighborhoods along Wolfensberger Road, we have dried hundreds of Castle Rock homes and businesses. Our familiarity with local building codes, HOA requirements, and preferred materials means the rebuild phase moves faster and meets the standards your community expects. When you search for water damage restoration near me in Castle Rock, Atlas is the team that already knows your neighborhood.
We also coordinate directly with Castle Rock utilities and local building inspectors when water losses involve municipal infrastructure or require permits for structural repairs. That local coordination eliminates delays that out-of-area restoration companies routinely encounter, keeping your project on schedule and your family back in a safe, dry home as quickly as possible.
Our Castle Rock crews respond 24/7 with truck-mounted extraction equipment. The faster we arrive, the more of your property we save.

We had a roof leak in our kitchen caused by a roofer. Rob came out right away and assessed the issue and worked with myself and the roofer. That day he had made a plan for how the job would go, and began setting up equipment to keep my family safe. He walked me through every step of how the job would go and kept my husband and I informed throughout the process. He made sure that the toddler and newborn in my home would be safe throughout the entire demo process. I cannot recommend this company enough.

This is an honest place. There are so many disreputable companies out there in this industry, but Atlas is not one of them. Quick work, proper abatement to prevent contamination, and friendly service all come with the fairly priced Atlas contract. Nobody wants to have this work done because it usually means things have gone sideways in your home. That said, if you do, call Atlas Contracting and Environmental Solutions; the company is ACES!!!
